Shirts & Destroy

Shipping delay in effect: Due to an urgent medical issue I will be unable to ship any orders for an indeterminate amount of time.
At minimum there will be a 1 week or possibly 4-5 week delay on shipping and communication via Email. Please understand that this is a very small business and life issues like this can easily derail an entire business that is run by essentially one person. Refunds will be give to anyone who does not wish to wait for their order during this time. That being said, I GREATLY appreciate any and all business during a difficult time such as this. Thank you.

Pants are wack. Sort it out.

Big pimpin, buying chairs.

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

We've literally been sitting on boxes the past few weeks because paypal had a freeze on all our money (long shitty story) Thanks to everyone who has ordered a shirt since the new website launch. Your patronage has made it possible for us to sit on things that aren't made of cardboard. We finally know what Jay-Z was talking about by "Big Pimpin". Its about living a lavish fast passed life style and spending upwards of 35 dollars on unnecessary luxuries like chairs.

"If you didn't have those Tattoos..."

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

"If you didn't have those Tattoos... You'd be ALL faggot."

Lukas went to the bodega on the corner and an enormous biker said this to him. It was a clever way to phrase it because he didn't actually CALL him a "Faggot" but rather made the distinction that he WOULD be 100% one save for his plethora of tattoos.

Shirts & Destroy & Peaches

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

I thought these came from Georgia but apparently behind our shop in Brooklyn is where peaches come from. I've saved about $1,000 in my peach budget this summer. They're just everywhere back here. Also there is an awesome new TBI shirt going up today exclusively as a tank top because Its too hot for sleeves right now.

Awesome Metal Blog / Review site

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

One of my oldest and closest friends has an excellent Metal blog / review site that everyone should check out. There are a million people out there who think their opinion on music needs to be heard but Jaime's actually has some merit and is well informed.

The reviews are always both entertaining and informative with a healthy dose of humor. Its an oasis in a overly saturated medium of lazy "this band sounds like this other band" review sites. Nothing is more irritating than some kid telling you "the new Electric Wizard full length is clearly influenced by The Black Dahlia Murder" or something of equally uninformed metal ignorance.

Its an excellent website to discover some obscure Scandinavian gore metal demo or which Hatebreed record is best to workout to. Check it out and get your metal nerding on!

The Living Doorway blog

yup, It gets better.

Andrew from @THURSDAYBAND stops by for the SECOND DAY IN A ROW with coffee from blue bottle which is this place in Brooklyn that brews their coffee with crystal meth or SOME shit because a few sips and you are FLYING. I'm honestly surprised that it isn't regulated in some way.

ZORLAC / DIE ANTWOORD / Justin Bartlett

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Today is starting of on 11. I got to my shop to discover my friends over at Zorlac had sent me a sweet Craig Johnson re-issue deck and a bunch of shirts. Thanks Jarod! I also picked up the new Die Antwoord EP and it is blasting in all its digital South African gangster laser beam glory.

There are going to be some new Justin Bartlett shirts up on the store later today. Get stoked on Wednesday!

Chris O'Donnell interview

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Chris O'donnell stopped by the shop today to say hello, grab a few shirts and talk about new ideas for shirt designs. Chris is one of the most humble and good natured people I have ever met. A well respected, renowned and accomplished artist and tattooer who apparently has never let it go to his head. A LOT of people should take a page from his book.

If you have any interest in being an artist or tattooer, click the link below for an interview with Chris on Vice T.V. He also has a really cool blog and a website for his paintings and a separate one for tattooing. I don't know how he balances it all and still makes time to stop by and hang out for a bit. New shirts will be hitting the shelves soon!

Matt Kona Stand-up set

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

This is my friend Matt doing some stand-up. He's been doing comedy for less than a year I think and its one of those things that is a lot harder than you think. He does mailorder for the record label we used to share an office space with so I'd always get to hear his jokes first. He's starting to get some laughs now and I'm stoked for him. Check his blog for more info!
