VICE Media today announces the first episode of its mini series featuring the San Francisco based tattooer, Grime, in the original show, Tattoo Age. Developed with support from New Era, Tattoo Age exposes the unassuming lives of five talented tattoo artists, as well as their unique styles and personalities.

To watch the first episode of the Grime series on Tattoo Age, please visit

Whether you like Grime’s tattoos or not, you can appreciate the work that goes into them. Grime is known for his tweaked out, assiduous technique that has San Francisco friends and coworkers talking about him like he’s a godsent. But Grime isn’t an ego-maniac tattooer - he’s his own harshest critic. In this episode of Tattoo Age we uncover the life of Grime, learn about how an accident as a child made him strive to get away from the status quo and “crush everyone in tattooing,” and take a look at his unmatched style.

Last month Tattoo Age unearthed the niceties of Dan Santoro’s daily grind in three episodes. The series now delves skin deep into the life and work of Grime, and will subsequently feature illustrious New York City and West coast artists Troy Denning, Mike Rubendall, and Freddy Corbin.
